Luke 2:19 — “But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.”
There is a space that every person of faith eventually finds themselves in.
It’s the space between the promise and the proof. Between the word you received and the moment it becomes visible to everyone else. Between the meeting that changed everything and the announcement you haven’t made yet.
It’s not a comfortable space.
But it is a sacred one.
Mary lived in this space for nine months.
She carried the most significant thing in human history — quietly, without a press release, without external validation, without anyone else’s confirmation that what she knew was real was actually real.
And the posture she chose in that space was not anxiety.
It was not performance.
It was not the frantic need to make people understand what she was carrying.
It was treasuring. It was pondering.
It was the quiet, deliberate act of holding something sacred in the place where only God could see it — and trusting that the right time for revelation would come without her forcing it.
If you are carrying something today that isn’t ready to be shared yet —
A business that’s on the edge of breaking through.
A deal that’s close but not confirmed.
A prayer that’s been answered but not yet delivered.
A dream that your family is funding with their faith and their patience and their quiet sacrifice —
This is your permission to hold it carefully.
You don’t have to announce it to honor it.
You don’t have to perform certainty to prove your faith.
You don’t have to fill the silence with explanation.
What you can do is this:
Pray over it with gratitude instead of anxiety. Thank God for what He is doing before you can fully see it. Let the peace that comes from trusting Him be the thing your family sees on your face tonight — because that peace will tell them more than any update ever could.
The people in your house are not just waiting for the breakthrough.
They are watching how you carry the waiting.
Show them what faith looks like in the in-between.
And when the moment comes — when the thing that is almost real becomes fully real, when the promise crosses into proof — you will look back at this quiet season and understand why it had to be held carefully.
Some things are too important to rush into the light.
Some promises need the dark to grow.
Some breakthroughs are being protected by your silence right now — not because you’re hiding them, but because you understand their value.
Treasure it. Ponder it. Trust the One who gave it to you.
He has never once dropped something He promised to carry.
Father, I am carrying something today that I cannot fully explain yet. I don’t have all the words. I don’t have all the answers. But I know You are moving — and I choose to thank You for it before I can prove it. Protect what is forming. Give wisdom about when to speak and when to be still. And let the peace of trusting You be visible to the people around me who are believing alongside me. Amen.
