They’ll scroll through the week ahead in their minds, replaying meetings, deadlines, and awkward conversations they’d rather avoid. They’ll carry Friday’s unfinished tasks into Sunday’s quiet moments, letting the weight of “what’s next” steal the rest they so desperately need.
But here’s the thing: you don’t have to live like that.
Because the same God who raised Jesus from the dead—the same God who spoke life into the void, who rolled away the stone, who turned despair into hope—is the same God who meets you every single morning.
Resurrection isn’t just a one-time event we celebrate on Easter. It’s the rhythm of God’s work in the world. It’s the heartbeat of grace.
And it’s happening in you.
Every day.

The thing God has been quietly nudging you toward. The thing that keeps surfacing when the world gets quiet.
Write it down. Put it somewhere you’ll see it Monday morning.
🧠 Three Things to Set Down Before Monday
Some things are not meant to travel with you into the new week.
Here are three worth leaving behind today:
- Last week’s unfinished guilt.
You didn’t get everything done. Neither did anyone else. The list will still be there tomorrow. Your worth is not tied to it. - Someone else’s opinion of your season.
Maybe someone made you feel behind or like you weren’t enough. Maybe they didn’t mean to, but it stuck. Leave their opinion here. It doesn’t belong in your week. - The anxiety about what you can’t control.
The news is loud. The world feels heavy. But you’re not responsible for fixing what only God can fix. Pray about it. Then let it go.
Travel light this week.
💪 Three Things to Pick Up Before Monday
- One specific thing to be grateful for right now.
Not a vague “thankful for life” kind of thing. Get specific. Say it out loud if you can. Gratitude isn’t a feeling—it’s a practice. Start practicing it today. - One person to encourage this week.
Not a group message. Not a quick like on social media. Pick one person. Be intentional. Send them a real message or say something kind face-to-face. Build them up. - Permission to be in process.
You’re not finished yet. Your faith isn’t finished. Your relationships aren’t finished. Your story isn’t finished. That’s not failure—that’s growth. Let yourself be a work in progress.

The world will keep spinning, and it won’t slow down for you. Here’s what your faith may be walking through this week:
- Geopolitical tension is high. The US-Iran conflict remains unresolved, and rising fuel costs are affecting global missions. Pray for peace and for those working in hard places.
- Easter has passed, but resurrection is ongoing. This is the week to let the truth of the empty tomb shape your Monday, your Tuesday, and beyond.
- The noise won’t stop. Whether it’s the culture wars, the headlines, or the pressure to pick a side, remember this: the Gospel is your anchor. Return to it as often as you need.
The week will try to pull you off course.

🙏 A Simple Prayer for the Week Ahead
Lord—
I don’t know what this week holds.
But I know You do.
When I’m anxious, be my peace.
When I’m tired, be my strength.
When I’m tempted to drift, be my anchor.
Help me to love quickly and react slowly.
Help me to see others the way You see them.
And by Your grace, let me finish this week looking a little more like Jesus than when I started it.

The same God who met Mary at the empty tomb on a Sunday morning is meeting you right now.
And He’s sending you into this week with the same power that raised Jesus from the grave.
